The Giannini brothers in Rome were, like Lombardi, attracted by the sleek lines of the car. They already reengineerd Fiat-engines for more power so perhaps that's another reason they took the car into their production.
The Grand Prix is build with three different engines: 843cc, 903 cc and 998 cc.
The last known adress of the company is:
GIANNINI Giannini Automobili S.p.A.,
Via Idrovore della Magliana n.57
00148 Roma, (Italy)
Mavis Walters sent me an article with a few characteristics. Thanks!
There aren't much pictures of a genuine Giannini, so I took the pictures from Frank Gama.
Here you will find some links to sites which might help you finding some parts especially for the Giannini Grand Prix. For generally available parts please look at the parts section of the Link-page.
- You can order a carcover for your Grand Prix at www.kneisner-technik.de. Although the cover is based on a Abarth Grand Prix, I think it will fit.
- Chris Obert is the man if you need a new windscreen for your Giannini Grand Prix.
